Privacy Policy
Effective date: 7 September 2026 · Last updated: 7 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how AKRAV S.R.L., trading as AKRAV Strategic Solutions ("AKRAV", "we"), processes personal data in connection with the website akrav.com.
Who operates this website
The website is operated by AKRAV S.R.L., acting as data controller. Registration number J40/16141/30.08.2023 · Fiscal code 48704949. All privacy matters are handled through a single point of contact: dev@akrav.com.
What personal data we process
We process only the data you choose to provide through the enquiry form on this website: full name, organisation, position, email address, optional telephone number, area of interest, your message, and your preferred method of contact. We also record the date and time of the enquiry.
In addition, our hosting and email delivery infrastructure generates standard technical records — such as IP address, browser type and request timestamps — which are produced automatically whenever a website is accessed and are used for delivery, stability and security purposes only.
How data is collected
Data is collected directly from you when you submit the enquiry form. We do not purchase data, and we do not build profiles from third-party sources. The website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking technologies.
Purposes and lawful bases
Responding to enquiries. We use the details you submit to assess and respond to your enquiry and to conduct any resulting correspondence. Lawful basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); where you tick the consent box on the form, your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) also applies.
Security and availability. Technical logs generated by our infrastructure are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure and reliable website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Recipients and processors
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for marketing purposes. Personal data may be processed on our behalf only by the service providers strictly required to operate this website:
Website hosting and delivery — the platform on which the site is hosted processes requests and generates technical logs.
Email delivery — enquiries submitted through the form are transmitted to us using Resend, an email delivery provider.
Web fonts — typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's font servers; that request discloses your IP address and browser information to that provider.
Personal data may also be disclosed where we are required to do so by law.
International transfers
Some of the service providers above operate infrastructure outside the European Economic Area. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, such transfers rely on the safeguards offered by those providers, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
Retention
Enquiries and related correspondence are kept only for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry and any legitimate follow-up, and are then deleted or archived in line with our internal review cycle. Technical logs are retained for short periods by our infrastructure providers for security and diagnostic purposes.
Security
Enquiries are transmitted over encrypted connections, access to correspondence is limited to those who need it, and we apply technical and organisational measures proportionate to the sensitivity of the information we handle. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be entirely secure.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, to request its rectification or erasure, to request restriction of processing, to object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interest, to data portability, and — where processing is based on consent — to withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
To exercise any of these rights, write to dev@akrav.com. We respond to requests within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your competent data protection supervisory authority.
Children
This website is directed at professional and organisational audiences and is not intended for children.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our services, technologies or legal obligations change. The current version is always published on this page with its effective and last-updated dates.
